Biography

Dr. Ravi Bhatia is board-certified both in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He completed his nephrology fellowship at Emory University with the ultimate goal of providing healthcare to the same metro Atlanta area that he grew up in. He developed an interest in the field of nephrology at a young age through his family’s work in the field, as he appreciated the long-term connections that exist between patients and their physician in terms of treating all aspects of chronic kidney disease over time.

He is currently affiliated with Emory University Hospital Midtown and Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. His areas of clinical interest include acute kidney injury, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and glomerular diseases such as IgA Nephropathy.

In his free time, Dr. Bhatia enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, playing the piano, traveling, and supporting all of the Atlanta sports teams.
